Originates from Nantou Lugu area, the central area of Taiwan, in 1885, Dong Ding Oolong tea is named after a nearby mountain called Dong Ding Shan literally translated as Frozen Summit Mountain. Because it is probably the predominant tea among all Chinese teas , Dong Ding has virtually become a brand of oolong. The special aroma and hand-made taste made this loose Oolong tea the most famous tea from Taiwan, and the most famous oolong tea in the market.
It is golden-brown color when infused and has a bitter sweet but mouth filling taste.
